Registration opens February 9, 2020
Embark on a life-enhancing experiential journey designed to bring physical vitality, mental clarity, emotional contentment, worldly prosperity and spiritual fulfillment. This comprehensive and integrative program will provide the tools and support you need to continue to embody and share this powerful practice.
You have completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training certification program, maybe it’s recent or maybe it’s been a few years. You may be a full-or part-time yoga teacher, or you are not teaching at all, but you know it’s time to explore the deeper dimensions of yoga that lead to self- and Self-inquiry leading to growth and fulfillment. You want to enhance mental clarity/awakening, keep learning about asanas, pranayamas, meditation, philosophy, anatomy, nutrition, and Ayurveda, and you want to embark on this journey with teachers who are rooted in the teachings; you have come to the right place.
For the 300-hour certification accreditation that leads to the 500-hour certification (must have completed a 200-hour program), the program requires 270 contact (in-class) hours. The remaining hours are home study.
Offered as three 90-hour modules that include:
- The Marriage of Yoga and Ayurveda;
- The Kundalini in my Hatha; and
- Sharira Ananda/ Body Bliss Yoga.
Module 1: Marriage of Yoga and Ayurveda
As a sister practice to yoga, understanding Ayurveda, developing the skills to apply its profound practices and learning how to link it with yoga brings lasting and integrative experiences. Upon completion of this module you will have the knowledge to offer specialized private classes and workshops.
Module 2: The Kundalini in my Hatha
Understanding the gradual unfoldment of kundalini begins with well guided practice. In this module you will dive-in to the study of chakras, meditation, yoga nidra, the nervous and endocrine system as well as mantras and mudras. Upon completion of this module you will have the expertise to teach specialized meditation classes and workshops, yoga nidra, and you will know how to share practices to enhance manifestation.
Module 3: Sharira Ananda
With the knowledge and experience of the first two modules we will explore yoga as a tool to strengthen the body while releasing mental, emotional and physical holding patterns. The study of the digestive system combined with modern anatomical teachings will leave you feeling confident to lead your students on this body bliss journey.

Any additional time missed will require private studies and will incur a fee – speak to Sylvie for details; and Completion of each final exam – one exam per module (take home for optimal integration).
After careful reflection we have chosen to register with the Canadian Yoga Alliance. To register with the American Yoga Alliance we would have had to substantially reduce our Ayurveda offering which means we would not have been able to offer the Marriage of Yoga and Ayurveda module which is an integrative component of our program and what will allow you to truly benefit from the teachings. The Canadian Yoga Alliance offers the RYT registration, as well as continuing education options and insurance packages. Upon completion you will be a certified 500-hour hatha yoga teacher and if you want to register as an RYT 500, the Canadian Yoga Alliance offers this option. We encourage you to visit canadianyogaalliance.com and read their manifesto and vision.
