About this meditation teacher training intensive

A deep immersion into the art and science of meditation, grounded in classical wisdom and integrated with contemporary perspective. This two-day intensive is designed for individuals who wish to deepen their meditation practice in a structured, meaningful, and experiential way.

Whether you are a yoga teacher, therapist, or coach, or someone called to
understand meditation more deeply and share it with others, this course provides
both clarity and depth.

Over two days, we will explore:

  • The power of the present moment, moving beyond pre-acquired concepts and common misconceptions
  • The foundational principles of meditation in the classical Yoga tradition
  • The progression from concentration to absorption
  • Practical tools for calming the nervous system and regulating stress
  • The relationship between breath, attention, and awareness
  • The subtle mechanics of thought, distraction, and inner stillness
  • How meditation transforms perception and daily life

This is not simply a theoretical course. Each day includes guided practices, reflective inquiry, group exploration, and opportunities for integration. You will learn not only how to meditate, but how meditation reshapes the quality of your attention, perception, and presence.

Home practice

The two week pause between each class will allow you the time to practice and integrate the knowledge.

As your own practice deepens, so does your capacity to hold space for others. You will leave with the clarity, language, and embodied understanding required to guide meditation with integrity, steadiness, and ease.

About Lynne Cardinal

Lynne Cardinal has been guiding individuals in meditation, philosophy, and personal transformation for over 30 years. She lived in India for 15 years, studying Sanskrit and Eastern Philosophy, and holds a Ph.D. in Eastern Philosophy.

She is the author of L’art de la méditation (2001) and her recently published 2026 memoir tracing her spiritual journey from Canada to India. Lynne has led conferences, workshops, and private consultations across Canada, the United States, Europe, and India.

Her work integrates classical Yoga philosophy, stress regulation, trauma-informed awareness, hypnosis, and holistic well-being. She is a certified Naturotherapist and Consulting Hypnotist, and a member of the ANQ. Lynne has been featured on CBC radio, Rogers TV, and in numerous publications.

Her teaching style is clear, grounded, and experiential, blending intellectual rigor with heart-centered presence.
