This safe and slower moving yoga class is designed for students who want to improve their ability to balance. We work to develop better balance through a number of “foundational” balance postures and exercises that build stability, strength and confidence. This gentle yoga practice also includes increasing the range of motion and strengthening the hips, legs and back. The class includes both sitting and standing postures, using a chair, blocks and straps as props. A yoga mat is required. The class ends with guided relaxation for an overall sense of well-being.
