Balance, Strength & Stretch Yoga (level 2)

This safe and slower moving yoga class is designed for students who want to improve their ability to balance. The level 2 class builds on the “foundational” balance postures in level 1 by adding movement, closing the eyes and combining a number of balance postures in a flow sequence. This gentle yoga practice also includes increasing the range of motion and strengthening the hips, legs and back. The class includes both sitting and standing postures, using a chair, blocks and straps as props. A yoga mat is required. The class ends with guided relaxation for an overall sense of well-being.
