I attended my first yoga class in a high school library in 2002 with a motley crew of aspiring yogis. What struck me then and has stuck with me since is that yoga gives us each exactly what we need in the moment, meeting us where we are no matter our size, situation, or perception. Forever a student in the fine art of relaxation, I have developed a passion for mindful movement practices, with a heavy leaning toward flowing sequences and slow introspective classes that encourage us to open up our senses and delve deeper into our relationship with self. I received my first Hatha yoga certification in 2010 and am now a certified Hatha, Yin Yoga, Gentle Somatic Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and Vinyasa Yoga instructor. I am currently studying to become a Qigong Flow instructor.
A level one Certified Sound Healing Practitioner through the Sound Healing Academy, I love bringing this element into classes as a new gateway inward.
As the Program Manager for Beyond Yoga Studio, I find it exciting to create new opportunities with instructors to help them share their passion with our members, and love watching them grow and flourish through this shared experience.
